And the

2 Leggs 4 Christ!Mission Team
In Prayer

1.        Please pray that our mission team will be able to grow, and that we will be able to shine the light of Jesus while we are there. Please pray against spiritual warfare.
2.        Please pray for the partnership between Woodside Bible Church and the Kiev Theological Seminary. Through this partnership, we are planting new churches in Ukraine.
3.        Please pray for Andy and Holly Rist. These are the Woodside Missionaries that have been sent by SEND International to Ukraine. We will have an opportunity to spend our first few days in Ukraine with them. While we are there, the Rist family will be traveling back to the United States for their home stay. Please pray for safe travels.
4.        Please pray for the Resurrection Church. This is the church we will be working with while we are in Ukraine. This is a new church located in North East Kiev.
5.        Please pray for Igor Fedorovich. He is the pastor of Resurrection Church. Please pray for balance and strength for Pastor Igor. In addition to being the pastor of Resurrection Church, he also works full time as the Dean of Students at Kiev Theological Seminary.
6.        While we are there, we will have the opportunity to attend a wedding reception! Please pray for the marriage of Alexander “Sasha” Duka.
7.        Please pray for the work that we will be doing while we are there. We hope to do some discipleship training with the Resurrection Church. For the majority of our time in Ukraine, we will be participating in several activities at the Voronkov Camp. On Saturday, July 2nd, we will be doing park ministry at a park near the church. We hope to be able to share our personal testimonies, lead devotional Bible studies, and teach conversational English.
8.        Please pray for unity while we are there. Ukranians have been exposed to a number of different religions. However, we hope to show them that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
9.        Please pray for safe travels as we caravan to the airport. We will be flying out of Detroit Metro into Warsaw. From there, we will be flying directly into Kiev. We will also be doing a lot of walking, and we will be traveling in buses and vans while in Ukraine.
10.     Please pray that God will provide for us financially, so that we are able to go on the trip. We have faith that God will provide, and we are honored to have the opportunity to go on this trip.

Departure Date : Next Friday, the June 24th
Praise Report Already .... Thanks so much Lisa! You definitely have my permission to publish the prayer requests, and I can send you a picture. We have already raised our support for this trip, so we don't currently need any donations. However, 2Leggs4Christ will be an ongoing ministry. Chapter 6 – June

Drop it like its Hot

Are you burning with sin in your heart, or splashing the world with Praises.
In this chapter we learn what happens when the heat gets turned up. We will learn how to be Splashers not Slashers.  Summer is in full bloom many of you are probably cooling off in your summer swimming pool! If you are burning with sin, even that can’t cool you off, the only thing you can do is drop it because it is hot!

May ~ Chapter 5 Part II How Does Your Garden Grow?

Who gets more enjoyment,

The Gardner who plants seeds,

The flowers who
beautifully grow

or

The ones who look upon the garden?

It is important to ask

And

Important to know.

Just exactly

How does your garden grow?

How does your garden grow..
What we plant is what we will grow..
We must water, weed and wait..
Amen ..
Don't forget your holy spirit fertilizer
To grow up your faith ..
Greater is He
Who is in you..
Then he (satan who in the world)
Use the Bug spray (the word of God)
To keep the demons away ...

Chapter 5 – May Part 1 .. Mr & Mrs Potato Head

God is God yes this is true:
 and what has
Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head
got to do with you?

Well let’s take a look at a few scriptures and see.
I think you will be amazed just like me.

Scriptures:
Romans 12:4-5 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office.  So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one member one of another.

I Corinthians 6:15 Do you know that your bodies are members of Christ

I Corinthians 12:12-26 (read all the scriptures I have left them for you to look up it is good to open your bible and learn where scriptures are) ... Hint~ this is in the New Testament.

After reading the scriptures illustrate with Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head, to help the children see how the body works together.  Without the help of the hands, the fingers are of no use to the body.  Without the use of the eyes we cannot see.  Without the use of the ears, we cannot hear. Etc.  The body works together the same way God intended the Church to work together.  Each part of the Church has an important part.

Without children, there would be no nursery.  Without children, there would be no Children’s Church.  Each ministry has a part in the body.  The family works the same way.  Each member has a part, everyone is important, whether a parent or a child, mom or dad.  Each has a part.  It all ties in together.  God is Awesome.  He created us all individually.  You are special to Him.

Let’s Pray: Father God, be with each person who reads this.  Open their understanding to your Word.  Open their understanding to your Holy Spirit. Thank you for your Son, Jesus Christ, who died willingly for our sins, so that we would be set free from sin and death: giving to us eternal life.  Forgive us of our many sins.  Help us to repent and turn from our sins.  In Jesus Name Amen!

Remember

Jesus loves you
And wants you to be a part of His body
You have a special place in His heart
Allow Him to have a special place in yours

May ~ Chapter 5

God’s Plan

It was God’s plan to create a man.
He created him from the dirt
Within the garden floor.
He created man

With the dirt of the garden.
How fitting to talk about the Body of Christ
And the garden in the same chapter.

See if you can see how it fits together ...

Second half of Chapter 4

When God
Makes You Smile!

When was the last time you had a good belly laugh?
God has a great sense of humor.
Let’s see if God can make you laugh today.
Laughter is the best medicine for anything that is troubling you.

Candy: Laffy Taffy candy – They come individually wrapped with different flavors.  This is the best because you can talk about different kinds of laughter, and the children can have more than one.

Tell the scriptures first, then go back through and talk about why Sarah Smiled!  Speak about God’s faithfulness to fulfill His Promise to Abraham.

Scriptures: Genesis 17: 1-22 (The Promise)
Genesis 21: 1-8 (Sarah’s laugh … Isaac’s birth, The Promise fulfilled, God is faithful)

Abraham and Sarah had a son and named him Isaac, just as God had told them.  God is faithful to finish all that he has started.  What about you?  What is the promise that God has given to you?  Has your promise died?  Be encouraged, and know that God is faithful.  He will complete what He has started in you, just like he did for Abraham and Sarah.

Today my little Grand daughter
Breanna Machelle  7 yrs old
Experienced the bible first hand
She discovered that God
Is not just what
We talk about at Church
But that He is Real
And
His Son is Real
And
The Holy Spirit is Real
The Bible Became Alive to her
She experienced True "Joy"

Her face is glowing
Her smile is Real
This is how knowing God
Makes you Feel
Inside and Out

Let’s Pray: Father God, Thank you for giving us hope for tomorrow: even when things in this world can seem so hopeless.   Help us to keep our eyes on you and to Trust you in all things.  We know it is because you love us and know what is best for us.  Teach us to depend on you for the promises you have for us. We thank you that you are faithful to fulfill in us all that you want for us, You are our Heavenly Father, and know best how to bless your children.  You blessed Abraham and Sarah with Isaac their son.  And you bless us with Jesus Christ your son, to bring to us deliverance, healing and everlasting life. We receive your blessing of Jesus and it is in His name that we pray.  Amen!

Chapter 4~April~

Passion
Great Passions have been played throughout history, but no greater passion, has been displayed but that of Jesus Christ when he laid down His life for us.  He exchanged His life for our sins. What a great place for this chapter to begin With Kisses of Sin.

Kisses of Sin

When was your last kiss? Was it your mother, your sister or your brother? Did you worry that they had hidden motives when they kissed you? Let’s take a closer look at what was to be Jesus’ last kiss.

It is Passover; Jesus is meeting with His twelve disciples (His trusted friends).  Set the table for the story.  On one end of the table, place the basket of bread and juice; on the other end of the table, fill the large clear bowl with the silver Hershey Kisses.  Cover it with a cloth, when you uncover it you want them to look like a pile of silver.
Scripture: Luke 22, 23, 24
It is important to read the whole Chapters to get the full message
During the Passover meal Jesus talks to his disciples Jesus knew He would be betrayed and by whom
After reading the story, ask these questions:
How do we betray Jesus today?
What price do we sell Jesus for?
How do we deny Him?
Jesus, He loved his disciples and they betrayed Him.
Judas betrayed Jesus with silver and a kiss.  Peter denied Him three times.  Is it a wonder that our lives are filled with betrayal too?  Even when Jesus returned after His death, Thomas doubted that it was actually Him.  Do people doubt who you are?  Do they doubt that you have been changed, by your experience with God? You and God can, only measure your worth as a Christian. We are all a part of the body of Christ. Separate we are nothing.  If we are Christians the word says we are a new creation.  The point of this message is to understand that we all fall short and need forgiveness.  Jesus gave His life for us; He arose from the grave - the victor of sin and death.  Don’t let the things of this world separate you from the Love of God.  Repent!  He is waiting for you!  He loves you!

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Let’s Pray:  Father God, Forgive me of my sins I surrender my life to you anew today! Have your way in me. In Jesus Name Amen!
Don't let Jesus’ death hold no meaning for you
Surrender your life to Him today
