As we swim

Into this chapter

I was thinking about Summer Vacations, fishing, Hurricane Season and Summer Storms. 
We are all dealing with different situations. Fish kept coming into play ..
What is God trying to teach and show me ..
My thoughts are as deep as the ocean .. I am seeing all things in the waters ..

And Becoming
Fishers of Men

We must Remember them in Prayer

We Must Rescue them from unstable homes

We must Love them anyway

We must Teach them God's Love

We need Bible Study and Teaching on our grounds

We need more than  4=four walls

We must Give them 

Godly Homes to Live in

And

Safe playgrounds to play on

With House Parents

Who will guard their home

Throughout the day

And

Throughout the night

To make sure

They are safe and sound

Hearts touched by God

Learning How to Live Again

Brothers. Sisters

We must be their friends

July Chapter 7

Go Forth

A Real Life Saver

We are getting storms.. today .. This was yesterday's lesson for the children .. Sometimes we get .. little sprinkles of life's problems.. sometimes we get the rain showers the medium problems in life.. and sometimes we get Thunder, lighten and heavy rains the BIG problems in Life .. God is with us through them ALL when we put our Trust in Him .. July Chapter 7

Luke 8:22-25

²² Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out. ²³ But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. ²⁴ And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!”
Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. ²⁵ But He said to them, “Where is your faith?”
And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!”

Jesus was with the disciples and He will be with you too! As you put your trust and faith in Him.. As you go through life's storms .. and life's problems ...

As I continue to walk out my life .. 

It is so Amazing 

To me .. that My book 

Continues to Speak so Loudly to me

Note from Jodie: We are currently in the equipping stage, and we are excited to go on our first international mission trip. On this LEGG of our journey, God is sending us to Kiev Ukraine. We are asking you to join us in prayer for our mission trip. We need faithful prayer partners that will pray for us before we leave, while we are there, and after we return.

In Prayer

1.        Please pray that our mission team will be able to grow, and that we will be able to shine the light of Jesus while we are there. Please pray against spiritual warfare.

2.        Please pray for the partnership between Woodside Bible Church and the Kiev Theological Seminary. Through this partnership, we are planting new churches in Ukraine.

3.        Please pray for Andy and Holly Rist. These are the Woodside Missionaries that have been sent by SEND International to Ukraine. We will have an opportunity to spend our first few days in Ukraine with them. While we are there, the Rist family will be traveling back to the United States for their home stay. Please pray for safe travels.

4.        Please pray for the Resurrection Church. This is the church we will be working with while we are in Ukraine. This is a new church located in North East Kiev.

5.        Please pray for Igor Fedorovich. He is the pastor of Resurrection Church. Please pray for balance and strength for Pastor Igor. In addition to being the pastor of Resurrection Church, he also works full time as the Dean of Students at Kiev Theological Seminary.

6.        While we are there, we will have the opportunity to attend a wedding reception! Please pray for the marriage of Alexander “Sasha” Duka.

7.        Please pray for the work that we will be doing while we are there. We hope to do some discipleship training with the Resurrection Church. For the majority of our time in Ukraine, we will be participating in several activities at the Voronkov Camp. On Saturday, July 2nd, we will be doing park ministry at a park near the church. We hope to be able to share our personal testimonies, lead devotional Bible studies, and teach conversational English.

8.        Please pray for unity while we are there. Ukranians have been exposed to a number of different religions. However, we hope to show them that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

9.        Please pray for safe travels as we caravan to the airport. We will be flying out of Detroit Metro into Warsaw. From there, we will be flying directly into Kiev. We will also be doing a lot of walking, and we will be traveling in buses and vans while in Ukraine.

10.     Please pray that God will provide for us financially, so that we are able to go on the trip. We have faith that God will provide, and we are honored to have the opportunity to go on this trip.

 

Departure Date : Next Friday, the June 24th

 Praise Report Already .... Thanks so much Lisa! You definitely have my permission to publish the prayer requests, and I can send you a picture. We have already raised our support for this trip, so we don't currently need any donations. However, 2Leggs4Christ will be an ongoing ministry. In the future, maybe we will be able to connect with the Bridge Mix Ministries!
