God is God yes this is true:

got to do with you? 

Well let’s take a look at a few scriptures and see. 

I think you will be amazed just like me.

Scriptures:

Romans 12:4-5 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office.  So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one member one of another.

I Corinthians 6:15 Do you know that your bodies are members of Christ

I Corinthians 12:12-26 (read all the scriptures I have left them for you to look up it is good to open your bible and learn where scriptures are) ... Hint~ this is in the New Testament. 

After reading the scriptures illustrate with Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head, to help children see how the body works together.  Without the help of the hands, the fingers are of no use to the body.  Without the use of the eyes we cannot see.  Without the use of the ears, we cannot hear. Etc.  The body works together the same way God intended the Church to work together.  Each part of the Church has an important part.

Without infants/small children, there would be no nursery.  Without Young children, there would be no Children’s Church. Without teens we would not have a Youth Ministry .. Without singers we would have no Praise Team/Choir .. Each ministry has a part in the body.  The family works the same way.  Each member has a part, everyone is important, whether a parent or a child, mom or dad ..or extended family .. aunts, uncles and or cousins .. grandparents ..   Each has a part.  It all ties in together.  God is Awesome.  He created us all individually.  You are special to Him.

Let’s Pray: 

 

Father God, be with each person who reads this.  Open their understanding to your Word.  Open their understanding to your Holy Spirit. Thank you for your Son, Jesus Christ, who died willingly for our sins, so that we would be set free from sin and death: giving to us eternal life.  Forgive us of our many sins.  Help us to repent and turn from our sins.  In Jesus Name Amen!

Remember

Jesus loves you

And wants you to be a part of His body 

You have a special place in His heart 

Allow Him to have a special place in yours

2003 I had A Candy Message ..  article due .. and knew I was using Laffy Taffy candy .. But did not know how the whole story would play out .. On March 22nd while I was at work .. I teased .. my customer .. me having been single for 7 yrs .. that if they knew any good christian single men .. I was looking for a Christian husband .. She replied .. as a matter of fact .. I do know of one.. my goods friends son has just moved back from Florida and he is looking for a Christian wife .. I laughed it off and gave them my email address on my business card .. Well guess what .. He called me at my job the very next day .. And we met in person the day after that .. March 24 ..  He asked me to marry him that Friday .. it was supposed to be ready from the Jeweler (April 1st)But .. I received my engagement ring on March 31st ..  I received it early as a surprise.   April 1st is .. Was no April Fools .. We went with his mother to Florida .. Where His sister lives, who is married to a Pastor .. So with his Mother as our Best Woman .. We went to Florida .. and they Married us on April 4th, 2003 .. It is also Stacey's Birthday .. I was his present that year .. and every year since .. We were truly like Rebecca and Isaac  .. We knew it was a God thing .. We did not question the hand of God .. 16 yrs later and we can still see God's hand in our marriage ..

Candy: Laffy Taffy candy – They come individually wrapped with different flavors.  This is the best because you can talk about different kinds of laughter, and the children can have more than one. 

Tell the scriptures first, then go back through and talk about why Sarah Smiled!  Speak about God’s faithfulness to fulfill His Promise to Abraham.

The Promise fulfilled, God is faithful

Abraham and Sarah had a son and named him Isaac, just as God had told them.  God is faithful to finish all that he has started.  What about you?  What is the promise that God has given to you?  Has your promise died?  Be encouraged, and know that God is faithful.  He will complete what He has started in you, just like he did for Abraham and Sarah.

Let’s Pray: Father God, Thank you for giving us hope for tomorrow: even when things in this world can seem so hopeless.   Help us to keep our eyes on you and to Trust you in all things.  We know it is because you love us and know what is best for us.  Teach us to depend on you for the promises you have for us. We thank you that you are faithful to fulfill in us all that you want for us, You are our Heavenly Father, and know best how to bless your children.  You blessed Abraham and Sarah with Isaac their son.  And you bless us with Jesus Christ your son, to bring to us deliverance, healing and everlasting life. We receive your blessing of Jesus and it is in His name that we pray.  Amen!

The Battle is on!

So whose team are you on? Ever feel like you are on the wrong side. In this season we will take a closer look, you just may find you have been in the wrong battle, on the wrong side, or just being worn out by your own sin.

Tug A War

Did you ever play tug a war as a child; where you have two equal numbered teams. Each team grabs hold of the rope on opposite ends. Each team tugs hard on the rope until the stronger team pulls the weaker team over to their side. This is called tug a war it is a game that has been around for a long time. Although it may not have had an official name, and not considered a game, it has really been around longer than we realize. Let’s look at it in another way.

Genesis 3 (Adam and Eve’s sin)

In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, satan was cast down to the earth and the battle between good and evil began. Adam and Eve being the first people to be deceived by satan causing them to sin.  They crossed over the line. This was the first earthly tug a war the teams were not exactly equal. As we read through the bible we will find many more tug a wars, which could also be referred to as spiritual warfare.  We know who the enemy is so it seems like the battle would be is a little easier. But unlike in a game where fairness is necessary, and rules are applied, satan does not play fair. The bible is also very clear who wins the battle in the end, but not everyone reads the bible. 

As you go forward in the Tug A War of life

Call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved

Let’s Pray: Father God, help us as we lean on you to pull us through.  We cannot do it with our own strength.  As we come to you with our weaknesses we know through your Son we will be made strong with the Word, which brings us the teachings of the gospel. We call upon your name now with the promise from you for everlasting life through your son Jesus Christ.  In Jesus Name Amen!

Here we are looking into Chapter 2 .. A Season of Love .. comes around every year .. What will be different, this year?  I am listening to a song right now .. Let us fall more in love with you .. This rings true .. in our lives .. I see God doing things .. in our Family .. He is working on a shift-change .. Lots of releasing going on .. Lots of Love happening .. God is Truly at work .. He is so in Control .. We are allowing Him to have His way .. Allowing Him to do the work .. We can see it .. We do not Have to Understand it .. Even now the next song in my Praise n worship .. the song is Here is my heart you can have it all ... We have to surrender it All to the Lord .. in order for Him to Perfect the complete workings .. So here it is ... Lord .. you can have it all I surrender my tender heart to you Have your way in ..

Getting the February 3 .. up date to .. A Season of Love ..  in it's 5th year of publication .. but over 14 years now of teaching me in the Seasons of my life .. He makes all things Work together for my Good .. Genesis 50:20 ... Amen ... God knows us .. and works things in our lives .. and in the lives of those we Love .. He know LOVES .. He is All about Love .. Believe me when I tell you .. We all go through .. Lessons, Trials ... Journeys .. this is how we learn .. I pray you are Learning something today .. We can not stay on the Mountain Tops forever .. Nor can we stay in the Valley forever ... It is always .. darkest before the dawn .. When your light is shinning .. share it with a Friend .. because you never know what they might be going through ... Amen! .. I have been in some REALLY Dark Tunnels in this life .. This Very Year .. Just because you did not know doesn't mean I haven't been there .. Prayer.. friend.. Praying .. We all Need to Lift One another UP!! Daily .. Hourly .. Moment by Moment .. Amen!! Let you light Shine .. This morning .. I am Breaking Through .. I am singing .. I am Shouting .. Why? How? .. Because I am Praying for others .. It is NOT about me .. I can't hold my Love back from You ... I can't hold my Love back from you .. I got to sing my Love back from you .. I can't hold my Praise back from you .. I got to Shout ... Shout .. Shout .. Shout .. LOL LOL LOL .. ha ha .. When we can't hold it back.. we can't hold it back .. He alone is Worthy ... He alone is Worthy .. When we Praise the LOrd.. Praise the Lord .. He heals us ...Not unto us O Lord .. But unto To YOU O Lord .. I Pray someone Get's FREE Today ... I Pray Break Through .. In Jesus Name .. Pray for someone else .. Measuring God's Love ~ January ~ Chapter 1

How do you Measure 

God's Love

With Christmas over and the New Year beginning many people make New Year resolutions, or vowed to have a fresh start for the New Year.  Whatever the case, it is important for us to know that God loves us, no matter what.  And we are to neither judge our lives nor measure them according to anyone else.  God has great plans for us, if we are willing to obey His commands.  We must be grateful for the blessings that we receive from God and give Him the Praise and the Glory He deserves.  We were created to Praise Him.  Amen!

Ephesians 3:14-21

 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,  from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,  that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
  Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen

Romans 8:38-39

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,  nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God began showing me using the bubble gum measuring tape 

That there is no measure to God's love for us.  

He loves us unconditionally; His love for us is immeasurable.

 How far will God stretch for You?

The bible tells us as far as the East is from the West.
