Chapter 4~April~

Passion
Great Passions have been played throughout history, but no greater passion, has been displayed but that of Jesus Christ when he laid down His life for us.  He exchanged His life for our sins. What a great place for this chapter to begin With Kisses of Sin.

Kisses of Sin

When was your last kiss? Was it your mother, your sister or your brother? Did you worry that they had hidden motives when they kissed you? Let’s take a closer look at what was to be Jesus’ last kiss.

It is Passover; Jesus is meeting with His twelve disciples (His trusted friends).  Set the table for the story.  On one end of the table, place the basket of bread and juice; on the other end of the table, fill the large clear bowl with the silver Hershey Kisses.  Cover it with a cloth, when you uncover it you want them to look like a pile of silver.
Scripture: Luke 22, 23, 24
It is important to read the whole Chapters to get the full message
During the Passover meal Jesus talks to his disciples Jesus knew He would be betrayed and by whom
After reading the story, ask these questions:
How do we betray Jesus today?
What price do we sell Jesus for?
How do we deny Him?
Jesus, He loved his disciples and they betrayed Him.
Judas betrayed Jesus with silver and a kiss.  Peter denied Him three times.  Is it a wonder that our lives are filled with betrayal too?  Even when Jesus returned after His death, Thomas doubted that it was actually Him.  Do people doubt who you are?  Do they doubt that you have been changed, by your experience with God? You and God can, only measure your worth as a Christian. We are all a part of the body of Christ. Separate we are nothing.  If we are Christians the word says we are a new creation.  The point of this message is to understand that we all fall short and need forgiveness.  Jesus gave His life for us; He arose from the grave - the victor of sin and death.  Don’t let the things of this world separate you from the Love of God.  Repent!  He is waiting for you!  He loves you!

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Let’s Pray:  Father God, Forgive me of my sins I surrender my life to you anew today! Have your way in me. In Jesus Name Amen!
Don't let Jesus’ death hold no meaning for you
Surrender your life to Him today
