I went for a ride
on my hubby's new bike ..
Going down
the highway of life..
God promises
to make the crooked paths straight
It is better to love
than it is to hate ..
We do not always understand
the bumps in the road
And are not always willing
to handle the heavier load
God knows the blind spots
And can see beyond the curve
It is not about what we want
or what we deserve ..
Did Noah want to build a huge boat
and then get stuck 40 days afloat
Did Jonah want to go down a whales throat
Then spend three days in his stinky bloat
Daniel did not want to be food in a lions den
So many things we can recall
that are there to help us when we would fall
Trust me when I say these things my friend
The Willingness to go when we are called
takes lots of prayer
to get us to where
we need to be
Trusting the things
we can not see
The Lord God will
get us through
When our trust is in Him
As we travel through
When we remember His love
And remember His Call ..
We surrender our souls
And we give our all..

Note:I love those the Lord.. places around me .. Believe me I need you as much as you need me .. God's love fills us with a desire to follow .. where only His will can take us .. Break us .. so that we can Truly only become Whole in Him .. Amen ..It is through the journey that we learn .. Some never .. truly journey in and through Christ .. And then walk around with all kinds of baggage .. I love allowing God.. to purge/prune me right away .. because the longer we hold on to it.. the harder it gets to truly LET It GO! .. Amen! .. Through the Years .. I have learned more and more .. in writing my thoughts .. in my blogs .. Holding my self accountable ... To God and those who know me .. I am a sinner .. just like everyone else .. Honesty .. and True to Self.. is the Best policy we can adapt our lives to .. Amen .
